Diagnostic Services

This section is tasked with the following activities;

1. Provision of Technical Assistance in Diagnostic Services
   1. The section is tasked with adoption, implementation and roll out of new diagnostic services in the country including x-ray, gene-xpert
   2. Supported the development of country diagnostics operational plan
   3. Development and review of laboratory guidelines, curricula, standard operating procedures, job aids and algorithms
2. Establishment of Sample Referral Networks
   1. Providing technical advice on sample referral models and implementation by counties and partners supporting the National TB Program
   2. Ensure availability and implementation of a functional Laboratory Sample networking structure
3. Monitoring and Evaluation
4. Monitoring of online reporting systems such as GXLIMS for results feedback and performance quality indicators
5. Initiating and monitoring continuous quality improvement(CQI) initiatives to build
6. Laboratory quality with reference to accepted standards
